Step-Rings

Step-ring sizes are determined first by the size of your camera lens or adapter tube and secondly by the size of the filter or extension lens you wish to add. For example, a 55-58 step-ring will attach to the 55mm lens thread of the Panasonic FZ50 and a 58mm filter will attach to the open end of the step-ring. A common mistake is reversing the two numbers; a 58-55 step-ring will not fit the FZ50 nor the correct side of the 58mm filter.
